Проходная нагревательная или термическая печь непрерывного действия, рабочее пространство которой разделено на несколько зон с различными температурами и независимым отоплением. В нагревательной методической многозонной печи число зон достигает 5: томильная, две верхних и две нижних сварочных. В термической многозонной печи может быть три (нагрева, выдержки, охлаждения) и более зон в зависимости от технологического процесса.
